9 to 5: The Musical Audition Workshop

Are you ready for your next audition?

Work out those audition jitters in this 2-hour workshop designed to prepare you for the upcoming auditions for Aloha Theatre’s mainstage Spring production of 9 to 5: The Musical

This workshop is perfect for first time auditioners and for anyone who hasn’t been to an audition in a while!

You’ll be able to:

• learn about the songs, and read “sides” (short scenes from the show),
• get tips on "cold reading" in character, and
• practice movement and choreography
• learn what directors are looking for in an audition

This workshop is for ages 13+

Participants must wear close-toed shoes and should dress in clothing comfortable for movement.

Auditions for our Spring Musical are planned for Monday December 11 and Wednesday December 13, 2023.

Attending this workshop is not a requirement to audition for the show. 

It’s a chance for you to give your audition a practice run and get questions answered!

Rehearsals: 1/8/24 – 2/15/24
