Aloha potential teen comedians!
Ever considered doing stand-up comedy?
Ever watched your favorite comedy show and wondered how they get the laughs?
In this two hour workshop, we will discuss the rules and tools of comedy, we'll talk about WHY we think something is funny, and how to find YOUR personal comedic voice.
We'll do a short writing exercise to get the writing juices flowing and hear feedback regarding some of those writing pieces.
Comedy is a great tool to get people to listen in a positive way, and the world needs your voice!

Meet the Instructor:
Justine Smith is a comedian, writer, producer, promoter, and director living on the Big Island of Hawai’i. She started her comedy career in 2016, and began producing her own shows in 2017. She produces and performs in traditional stand up comedy shows as well as working as a traveling comic.
Justine has opened for Eddie Brill, Jamie Lissow, Paul Ogata and was featured opener on Pauly Shore’s Hawaiian Island Tour in 2020 and 2022.
