Work out those audition jitters in this 2-hour workshop designed to prepare you for the upcoming auditions for Aloha Theatre’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong.

This workshop is perfect for first time auditioners and for anyone who hasn’t been to an audition in a while!
Participants must wear close-toed shoes and should dress in clothing comfortable for movement.

About the Instructors:
Sara Athans
Sara is a community arts administrator, facilitator, and director originally from Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to joining the Aloha Theatre, Sara worked in a pre-K special education classroom in Kailua-Kona; as the Director of Programs at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum in Austin, Texas; and as the Executive Director of Anchorage Community Theatre in Anchorage, Alaska. Most recently Sara directed “Little Shop of Horrors” for the Aloha Theatre. She holds a BA in Theatre and Dance from the University of Texas and an MA in Applied Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Attending this workshop is not a requirement to audition for the show. It’s a chance for you to give your audition a practice run and get questions answered!
Auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong are (tentatively) planned for Monday August 7, and Tuesday August 8, 2023.
