So, you’ve always had a passion for Stand Up Comedy and you’re ready to go further? This six week class, led by Justine Smith, will give you the tools to build a solid 5 minute set and an opportunity to showcase your talent in front of a live audience on the Aloha Theatre mainstage! Utilizing the tools and the rules to create that set, you’ll discover: How to write What to write When to write You’ll learn tips for Presenting the material, exploring: Timing Comparisons Embracing the silence Finding your voice About the Instructor: Justine Smith is a comedian, writer, producer, promoter, and director living on the Big Island of Hawai’i. She started her comedy career in 2016, and began producing her own shows in 2017. She produces and performs in traditional stand up comedy shows as well as working as a traveling comic. Her credits include: Tao Comedy Festival, and Burbank Comedy Festival.
